It takes a bit to get on to our "Shonky business" list, and even more to get off it!

1. City Rainwater Tanks (September): I know that everybody wants one right now, but come on guys! Telling us that it will take 3 weeks to get a quote and a week to get a sales rep just to ring us back... When he called, he told us he was on holiday, and had just come back (after 3 tries on our behalf)
2. Murray, Bessant (29/8- carpet layer): Did not turn up at the appointed time for the quote. No phone call. Not contactable. No explanation. Avoid this man.
3. Dick Smith Electronics (September): Not sure what sort of quality control they have; they seem to try to re-sell returned faulty goods- had problem twice recently (one with a solar torch, and one with a DVD player, both of which had to be exchanged)
